San Jose Mercury News Online Producer Susan Steade has found a way to have fun with Pinterest while promoting the newspaper’s stories. On the Quotes board she pins humorous quotes, which link back to the full story. “Time is of the essence because we don’t want them defrosting,” reads a quote from a forest service official about some cattle which froze to death after becoming trapped in a Colorado cabin. Police blogs have long been a source of humor, and Susan takes it to a new level on the Best of the Crime Blotter board. My favorite? The woman who called police after finding a pink bra in her yard.
