I am a writer and Social Media Editor for the Bay Area News Group in Silicon Valley and the San Francisco Bay Area.  Ironically, I hated Facebook the first time I met it, and now I love it, and it is my job to train other journalists in every type of social media imaginable. A New England transplant, I am a hiker, traveler, and frustrated playwright.
